Santa Catalina Island

It is one of the islands of the California Canal and is located southwest of Los Angeles. It is known for its wild life, diving sites and Mount Orizaba, its highest peak. The tourist town of Two harbors is in the north. In the south, in the city of Avalon, palm trees and cabins delineate the beach rest beach. Catalina’s Art Deco-style circular casino in Avalon is a cultural center with a cinema, a ballroom and a museum.
