San Diego International Airport

This is the busiest single-track airport in the United States, and the second in the world, only surpassed by London Gatwick Airport. Performs approximately 465 takeoffs and arrivals with an average of 48000 passengers per day. It is estimated that it annually transports about 23 million people. The airport makes domestic flights to major cities as well as international flights to Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Japan. It has 3 terminals with 55 doors of clutch in total with shops, cafeterias, VIP lounges and also promotes the knowledge of its history with the program “AirportExplorers”. Finally there are well-known works of art on the premises, a very popular among tourists is at the Gate, which depicts comical characters waiting patiently for their planes.
