It is a public airport located 3 km east of Ontario’s Central Financial District (CBD). It carries about 5 million passengers annually and performs an average of 88000 air operations. It has three terminals and its numbering scheme is designed to adapt to future growth. The airport Master plan has five terminals to be spaced in the vicinity of existing terminals 2 and 4. It has a ground transportation center that consolidates car rental companies in a central location. A bus circulates the airport and offers connections to each of the terminals, the car rental area, remote parking lots and public transport stops.
