Fresno-Yosemite International Airport

It was formerly known as the Fresnoy Air Terminal is a civil-military joint public airport located in the east of that city. It is only 97 miles from Yosemite National Park on the California State Route 41. It has two runways and a heliport and is the most important air transport center in the San Joaquin Valley, with service from major airlines to air connection centers throughout the western United States. It moves an average of 1.2 million passengers annually in about 11000 air operations. It has a very sophisticated landing system as it has to perform aerial operations through the valley fog in winter.
